White Men Can’t Jump is, in my opinion, the best basketball movie. The secret ingredient is the same as Bull Durham: They’re not movies about sports, they’re movies about people who play sports.
I like “The Break-Up.” I went in expecting a romantic comedy, but it’s pretty dark. But it also has a lot of bits that ring true. Plus the great band the Old 97s have a cameo.
Ann gets mad at Chris when he tries to solve all her problems and just wants him to acknowledge her problems (as a pregnant woman) and just say “Damn, that sucks”. My wife did the Leo pointing at the TV during this episode.
This is the part where I admit that I haven't seen this movie but also ask how you felt about the remake despite having ow intimate knowledge of either piece of media other than reading the synopsis of /this/ movie roughly three months ago.

The Old 97s pop up in more movies than I realized! I loved their contributions to the Guardians of the Galaxy Christmas special.
Oh gosh. That Christmas special thing they did is next-level stuff.
Parks and Rec also has a great episode on this topic.
I haven't seen it! Say more.

😂 Please watch White Men Can't Jump with your wife (if you haven't already) and let me know how she reacts.

We don't speak about the remake in this house. 😂 I'm mad that it exists at all, but I'm even more mad that Jack Harlow plays Billy.
I was...very surprised to see that he was in it lol
As a Louisville grad, I feel like I *should* support Harlow...but I just can't bring myself to do it.
