Lately, I've endured some miserable seasons from my favorite basketball teams. But Celtic Pride reminded me that great teams yield obsessed fans, and obsessed fans are ridiculous—if not reckless—people.
I have mixed feelings about this movie considering I was a Lakers fan in the 80's (still am) and absolutely hated the Celtics and their obnoxious, racist fans. These days I don't really care and the hate has dissipated. When they won the title I was like, "Ok." The NBA is baby-shit-soft these days and could hardly be called basketball anyway.
Anyway, I remember this movie being kind of...ok. I probably enjoyed this write-up more than the actual movie itself. I never knew Apatow wrote the thing. Weird.
Yeah, I still hate the Celtics more than most teams, but it's hard to actively dislike Tatum and Brown, or any of those current guys really. It's mostly Boston sports fans that I hate.

I planned my first trip back to Australia in 10 years around my favorite footy team’s home games. Don’t tell my wife.
Nothing to be ashamed of there. That's just smart travel planning!
That sounds better- since they give the teams both moral and financial support.
Remember- "fan" is short for FANATIC!
You're so right. I need to start saying I'm a "supporter" instead.
