America's most patriotic fictional professor has been on my mind lately. So this holiday weekend feels like the perfect excuse to revisit this Dust On The VCR classic.
If I mentioned it before, it was probably as an excuse for being behind on the things I owed (and still owe) you. 😅
But yes, the new virtual class has been a fun side gig! I'm hopeful that after another year or two of these intro classes I can pitch them something meatier. My BSC class was all about horror/sci-fi films through the decades and how they reflect what was happening in America at the time.
Traveling around the global south plundering precious artifacts and growling, “It belongs in a museum [back in my home country]”? Is Indiana British-coded? Especially when we learn his father is Scottish.
